  • How does getting a bond work?

You will need to call and speak to our bondsman and explain the reason for the bail bond. From there, we will discuss your options. The bail bond amount is set by a judge.

  • Do I get the money back?

Per the State of Indiana, the bail bond fee is non-refundable.

  • What happens if I do not show up for court?

Please understand we do have the right to arrest you in the case that you do not show up for court or violate any condition of the bond. If this occurs, the bail bond agent may be able to work with the court to help you. Please contact Liberty Bail Bonds for assistance.

  • Does the bail bond agent accept collateral?

While the bond premium cannot be replaced with collateral, we may accept select forms of collateral when needed. These may include real estate, full cash collateral, or passports for individuals from outside the country.
